Master Builders Tasmania Golf Club

Master Builders Tasmania Golf Club (MBTGC) - Your Industry Golf Club

The Master Builders Tasmania Golf Club was formed in Hobart in 1971 (named the Master Builders' Association of Tasmania Inc SOCIAL GOLF CLUB). The object of the club is to function solely for the social welfare of the members, each of whom pledges to be an ambassador of goodwill towards all sections of the trade, acting with dignity at all times.

A core commitment of the club is to participate annually in and at all times to promote the National MBA Inc. tournament competing for the M R Hornibrook Cup.

Membership of Master Builders Tasmania Golf Club is open to all Master Builders Tasmania members at a cost of $30.00 per year.  Business group packages are available. It is preferred that golfers are members of a registered golf club but it is not essential.  New members are always welcome.  The golf club was created in 1971 for MBA Members and Associated Members.  See our history at

For more information on the Master Builders Tasmania Golf Club please contact Secretary/Treasurer Roger Stokes on 0407 657178 or go to the website at

HORNIBROOK 2017 - to be hosted by Tasmania

MBA National Golf Championship is being hosted by Tasmania this year in October. Courses to be played are Claremont, Tasmania and Royal Hobart.

The Hornibrook Invitation 2017 sets out the program, and the Registration page has accommodation details and the registration form. If you have trouble downloading these please advise and a registration form can be sent out to you.

Those familiar with the Hornibrook Tournament will know what a great 5 days it is. If you haven't taken part before, have a talk to members who have and give it a try.

Note: The MBTGC is conducted under its own constitution, is self supporting both financially and administratively but is supported by Master Builders Tasmania.
