The Master Builders’ Association of Tasmania Building Consultants Group (BCG) comprises members who undertake a range of functions including pre-purchase inspections, building condition reports, informal mediations, project management and building advice.

Members of the BCG are required to have undertaken an MBA Building Consultants Course or had adequate practical experience before being admitted. Further entry restrictions are being investigated to ensure that the quality of members is of the highest possible calibre.

The BCG is affiliated with the Queensland Master Builders Association Institute of Building Consultants (IBC), which includes the majority of Building Consultants operating in Queensland.
